Founded in 1943 as McNeil-Patterson, we changed our name to AssureSouth, Inc. in June 2001 to emphasize our growing geographical presence across the Southeast and a new service-oriented business model.

By adding a Benefits division in 2001 to our established Property and Casualty foundation, we have grown to 25 employees with industry experience now ranging from Claims, to Underwriting, to Human Resources and Personal Financial Planning.

We have positioned ourselves as one of the largest independent agencies in the Carolinas and have built a reputation as a creative, proactive leader in our industry.
